24th Big Sur International Marathon Under Way
BIG SUR, Calif. — Amid foggy and moist conditions, thousands of runners competed in the 26.2-mile sojourn that is the Big Sur International Marathon early Sunday.
Ryan Hafer, of Colorado Springs, Colo., was the men’s overall winner, and Mary Coordt, of Elk Grove, was the overall women’s winner of the 24th Big Sur International Marathon.
For Hafer, 22, it was his first time running in the Big Sur Marathon. His finishing time was 2:32:17.
Coordt, 39, finished the marathon in 2:56:06.
