Thelma Houston, KC Casey embarass themselves on American Idol
Paula Abdul takes the contestants through the paces in this weeks video package. She’s choreographed this week’s group number. Group Number: Michael Jackson! With the dancing, they are definitely lip syncing. She gets flowers from the kids after the number. Ha ha, she’s doing the pageant wave. She says she’s never seen anyone work harder. She’s so proud of them! Ford Video: I’m Good I’m Gone – That’s some of the contestants. Ha. Lil Rounds stands up…Ryan asks her to walk to the far side of the stage. Playing games! OMG Ryan just eliminated her! Just like that! Bet she didn’t see that coming. LIL ROUNDS IS ELIMINATED!!! She sings out… Paula calls her classy. “Lil baby, you’re just on your way…just the beginning baby,” says Randy. Simon says, “You made some bad decisions, I’m going to miss your family screaming.” Kara says, “I think you learned something from this competition.” Freda Payne takes the stage and sings “Band of Gold” – Whoa. She looks good, but her voice is shot. Yikes. She introduces Thelma Houston singing “Don’t Leave me This Way” LOL. I bet Simon was hanging out at the discos back in the day. Thelma is slightly better than Freda. You gotta give these peeps credit for taking the stage and singing live. KC and the Sunshine Band are next. This is hilarious, with the dancers around a nearly stationary KC. I can remember him back in the day behind the keyboards, singing and dancing…how times have changed. There are two more seats left in the bottom three. Kris Allen stands up…he is SAFE. Adam Lambert stands up…he is SAFE. Danny Gokey stands up…he is SAFE. Anoop Desai stands up…He is in the Bottom 3. Allison Iraheta and Matt Giraud stand up.. Matt Giraud is SAFE. OH NOES Allison Iraheta is in the Bottom 3!!! David Archuleta performs “Touch My Hand” – Not Archie’s best vocal. Plus the song is lame. But he is adorable. Archie walks down to greet Anoop and Allison in the Bottom 3. He gives them words of encouragement. ANOOP DESAI IS ELIMINATED… He sings out. “I’m so disappointed, but I look at the bright side, I’m going back to Chapel Hill.”
