Gateway T-6345U Review – Best Laptop Deal Around Here

Here is one great laptop which is available now with a discount. I said in many other posts – the recession is here, it affects all of us, and the best thing is to look for discounts if you are going to buy a product. This is the Gateway T-6345U laptop which is based on an Intel dual core T3400 processor which runs at 2.16GHz, 2GB of DDR2, 250GB HDD, and an Intel GMA X3100 graphics card.

The Gateway T-6345U measures 12.95 x 9.75 x 1.3-inch, and weighs 5.55 lbs. You probably noticed that the laptop offers enough space to fit in a 14.1-inch WXGA LCD screen, and besides that it comes with a DVD Super Multi optical drive, 3 x USB port, V.92 56K modem, 10/100Mbps LAN, 802.11b/g Wireless LAN, and 1 x express card slot.

The list of specs is completed by a 6-cell lithium ion battery, a multi-card reader, 2 channel audio, and Windows Vista Home Premium. The 14.1-inch WXGA screen provides a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

This notebook is available now in stores, but it’s kinda expensive. However, you can order it from here for a price of $399.99, and I think this is a bargain considering its specs. Also, you can always upgrade it if you want to as the Gateway T-6345U would look great with 4GB of RAM, and possibly Windows 7 if it’s released soon enough and if it’s cheap, but I remind you that the Ubuntu 9.04 Desktop Edition was launched today so might consider installing this OS if you are a Linux fan.
