Noblegarden has begun!
It’s 12:01 AM Pacific, which means that Noblegarden should now be live on all North American realms. Despite the fact that it’s the middle of the night, people are absolutely packed into the starting zones on my home realm, so don’t expect things will be easy just because it’s late!
Keep an eye on WoW Insider throughout the day, because we’re going to be covering the holiday as much as we can. Our own Allison Robert started that already yesterday evening with a special edition of The Overachiever, covering the achievements of Noblegarden. She also has a basic FAQ of the holiday up, should you need it.
Noblegarden Comes to Azeroth
The Noblegarden is now live on european servers and will be available in the US in a few hours. Before you read the “guide” you have to keep in mind that this event is very simple.
1. Brightly Colored Eggs are hidden in the starting town of each races: Bloodhoof Village, Brill, Falcowing Square, and Razor Hill for the Horde. Azure Watch, Goldshire, Dolanaar, and Kharanos for the Alliance. The eggs are only in this town and will respawn in a few seconds/minutes, it probably won’t be enough during the first days of the event because a LOT of players will be camping them. They’re hidden in different spots of the town and might be a little hard to find at first, but it becomes very easy when you know what you’re looking for.
2. Looting the eggs will give you a Noblegarden Chocolate or one of the rare item from the event, you can also buy all of them with the chocolates if you’re lucky enough with your eggs. Please note that Dressed for the Occasion and Sunday’s Finest will not work if you buy the items from the NPC, you have to find the items in an egg to complete the achievement. (These 2 achievements are NOT part of the Noble Gardener meta-achievement.
3. When you’ve got enough chocolate to buy all the items you need for the achievements, the only thing left to do is to complete the achievements that require you to travel in other zones/continents : Desert Rose, Spring Fling / Spring Fling and Noble Garden / Noble Garden.
The Noblegarden Vendors will let you buy the items you want if you can’t find them in eggs.

Noblegarden 2009 Details
As a reminder, the Noblegarden page is available in the Guides section. I’ve also included all of the information below for this year’s event.
Noblegarden has received some changes over last year and is going to run for one week, beginning on April 26th, 2009. The basic mechanics of the egg hunt still exist, though things have been spiced up slightly and you’ll be able to purchase items (or find them in the eggs) with [Noblegarden Chocolates] that you get from hunting eggs. Note that while the items can be purchased, you can find most of them in the eggs too, though your mileage may vary on the luck factor.
Additionally, various effects can occur while you’re gathering eggs, such as being turned into a Noblegarden Bunny, and spawning a few bunnies that run off in random directions.
Brightly Colored Eggs can be found scattered about the following sub-zone towns, in addition to Terokkar Forest, outside the gates of Shattrath City.
