Lil Wayne and Will Ferrell To Present MTV Movie Awards
Rap star Lil’ Wayne and Actor/Comedian Will Ferrell have just been announced as the presenters for the 18th Annual MTV Movie Awards.
Lil Wayne and Will Ferrell – what an absolute duo! I couldn’t think of any better combination of presenters for this show. Seriously, I mean that. I love Lil’ Waynes raps and his never-die, don’t give a f*ck attitude. And Will Ferrel – I mean who doesn’t love Old School?!
In addition to these absolute superstars, Denzel Washington, Ryan Reynolds and Cameron Diaz will also be presenting. The MTV awards show will be hosted by SNL’s Andy Samberg – a name you probably recognize from his role in D*ck in a Box with Justin Timberlake.
The 18th Annual MTV Music Awards will be broadcast live on MTV at 9pm ET on Sunday, May 31st. Should be quite a show! Even better, infamous white rapper, Eminem will be playing live. Em will be playing tracks from his new album, Relapse.
MTV is adding two new interesting award categories this year: Best Song from a Movie and Best WTF Moment, which I especially like. Top nominees include tracks from Miley Cyrus’s “Hannah Montana” and scenes from Ben Stiller’s “Tropic Thunder”. So tune into MTV on May 31st for the movie awards, you don’t want to miss this one!
