Wannabe truck owners get Stuck on a Truck
CONWAY — Stuck on a Truck will return to this year’s Toad Suck Daze festival beginning today and ending sometime four or more days later. The event is at Oak and Front streets, adjacent to Centennial Bank’s Toad Suck Station Branch. Contestants will keep at least one hand on a 2009 Ford F150 pick-up, and the last contestant “stuck on the truck” will win the truck. Contestants will be given a five minute break each hour and a 15-minute break every six hours. No sitting, squatting or leaning is allowed. Each contestant will represent a United Way charity. Onlookers can vote for their favorite contestant by making a donation to that charity. The contestant with the most votes wins a prize. Last year’s event raised almost $4,000.
