Bulls-Celtics: Game 7 Preview for Greatest 1st Round NBA Playoff Series Ever
The Bulls and Celtics are engaged in one of the most competitive, entertaining, and dramatic series in the history of the NBA Playoffs.
Some people are calling it the greatest playoff series ever; others say that a first round series can never, no matter how amazing, reach such lofty status.
I say I don’t give a scalabrine. I’m having a ton of fun watching the series and I can’t wait for Game 7.

Win Willy out of Derby with possible ankle injury
Rebel Stakes winner Win Willy is out of the Kentucky Derby. Trainer Mac Robertson scratched the 3-year-old colt from Saturday’s Run for the Roses after X-rays revealed a possible crack in the horse’s left front ankle. Win Willy burst onto the Derby scene in an upset at the Rebel Stakes at Oaklawn, knocking off Old Fashioned as a 56-1 longshot. He finished fourth in his last start in the Arkansas Derby.
I Want Revenge made early 3-1 Derby favorite
I Want Revenge has been made the early 3-1 favorite for the Kentucky Derby, with Pioneerof the Nile and Dunkirk sharing second-favorite status in the full field of 20 horses. I Want Revenge is coming off eye-catching victories on dirt in the Gotham Stakes and Wood Memorial at New York’s Aqueduct after leaving California and the synthetic surfaces there. Trained by Jeff Mullins and ridden by 19-year-old jockey Joe Talamo, I Want Revenge drew the No. 13 post position Wednesday.

There has never been a Kentucky Derby winner to come out of post position #15, the post position assigned to Kentucky Derby super favorite Dunkirk, now up against all odds.
The recent work times (59:90 over 5 furlongs at Churchill Downs) suggest that Dunkirk is more than capable of becoming the first ever horse to win starting from post position #15 and returning a nice chunk of change on the Kentucky Derby odds.
I Want Revenge is assigned to post position #13, Friesan Fire #6 and Pioneerof the Nile #16.

Vickie Guerrero opens the show in the ring. She said that she’s proud of Edge for winning the World Heavyweight Title from John Cena at Backlash. However, it is her honor, as the General Manager of Raw, to introduce Randy Orton as the new WWE Champion.
Randy Orton comes to the ring with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase in tow. After a great deal of time spent grand standing, Orton said that he did exactly what he set out to do last night. He then proceeds to tell the fans that they will all amount to nothing. But not him… he’s a success. And he’ll be the first to tell you. A highlight film is then shown of him destroying the entire McMahon family… one punt to the head at a time.

Suspended Phillies reliever J.C. Romero has filed suit against a nutritional supplement manufacturer alleging an unlisted ingredient in one of its products caused him to test positive for a substance banned by Major League Baseball.
Romero, suspended for the first 50 games of the 2009 season, says he tested positive for steroids last August because a supplement he was taking, 6-OXO Extreme, did not specify it included androstenedione, a banned substance.
He filed suit Monday in Camden County, N.J. seeking punitive and compensatory damages.
Romero also named as defendants the corporate owners of two nutritional stores where he purchased 6-OXO Extreme, alleging sales clerks assured him it would not cause a positive test for a banned substance. (Source: nytimes.com)

As always, Mel Kiper Jr. has graded the NFL Draft, even though no one drafted has played a down in the NFL yet. I always find that rather strange, but whatever, my team got a B+, so I won’t complain. Here’s Mel’s take .
——————–
Green Bay Packers: GRADE: A
I love what this team did to solidify its shaky defense in the first two picks alone, with the selection of two excellent players in defensive tackle B.J. Raji and outside linebacker Clay Matthews. Tackle T.J. Lang was a good pickup for the offensive line, while Quinn Johnson could be a bruising lead fullback in the league. Sixth-round pick Brandon Underwood could make this team and give the Packers depth as a backup.
New York Jets: GRADE: A-
The motto of the Jets’ draft was quality over quantity. Mark Sanchez’s selection made this team’s draft because he’s a franchise-maker. New coach Rex Ryan likes his defense, so the organization felt it could focus on the offense in his first draft. The Jets picked up Iowa running back Shonn Greene, who will fit into the rotation with Leon Washington and Thomas Jones. Guard Matthew Slauson was an OK pick in the sixth round, but the key to this draft is up top with Greene and Sanchez.
