The new Hell’s Kitchen Season 5 Episode 13 S05E13 as usual this episode started with a recap of the prior one. And It ended with Ramsay threatening to “shut Hell’s Kitchen down. Contestants will vie their way through various cooking challenges and each week one chef will be asked to turn in their knives and sporks. Andrea start in with raw scallops sent back by a diner. she did not have immunity and that her bad performance had caused Ben to under-perform.

Chef Gordon Ramsay is a former soccer player who is much better known for his top star ratings worldwide as a chef. Having a highly successful show in the UK, Fox brought him to their network with 12 hopeful apprentices vying to win a new restaurant of their own. If it were just about their cooking talents, it might be easy, but this isn’t called “hell’s kitchen” without the devil himself in the person of Ramsay, making incredible demands for perfection, something he himself provides as is proven by his many years of winning top worldwide awards for his magnificent cuisine and presentation. If you can stand the heat, welcome to Hell’s Kitchen.

My first impressions are that it’s got an amazing, user-friendly design. The site looks great and it’s really easy for me to find all the different episodes.

The site works like this: You search for the episode of Gossip Girl that you want to watch and click “watch episode”. Main character, House, and the rest of his team, are intrigued by a patient named Scott, whose left brain and right brain operate independently of each other. For anyone in the medical field out there, this is quite an oddity. Because of Scott’s condition, he develops two clashing personalities, which prove difficult for House and his team to diagnose. The team uses questionable, yet necessary, tactics to get Scott to commit to testing to help him out.

Meanwhile, House runs into relationship issues with Cuddy, who is acting quite different today than the night before (wink, wink). Throughout the episode, the tension builds between the two and eventually leads to House announcing to a lobby full of people that they had sex the night before! Score, House. Cuddy responds by firing him. Bad, House…bad. The aftermath? House ends up getting taken to the Mayfield Psychiatric Hospital by Wilson.

J.T. and Stephen explain their piece to Coach and Debbie, and those two play it off like they’re not mad about Tyson. Coach, especially, acts like it was a great move, but you know he’s steaming inside. Or, maybe he really is somehow impressed. You never know with Coach and his delusional self.

The next morning, Debbie kisses Stephen and J.T.’s asses. Hard. She asks them what the next move is – they say Sierra and then Erinn. Debbie discusses the sitch with Coach. She is pissed about Tyson’s elimination, and knows that an alliance with J.T. and Stephen is destined to fail. They think their best move is to rejoin the remaining Timbira members. Yep, I’m sure Sierra wants to align with Coach at this point.

In an effort to change their mood, Coach told a story of his rafting trip in the Peruvian Amazon in which he was captured by natives, tied hand and foot and beaten with clubs. Fearing for his life, he managed to break free of his bonds and escape by kayak.

The others show various signs of disbelief. On the following morning, Coach performs his meditative, “warrior” routine reaffirming his warrior stance, that he is the commander of the forces. When Sierra mocks his routine, he calls her the dragon’s “bowel movement.” Erinn is missing Joe and when she and JT talk, she tells him she likes the Jalapao tribe members better and they speak of alliances.

The April 22 American Idol results show saw Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai eliminated after over 45 million votes came in.

JON AND KATE PLUS SOMORE UGLY RUMORS: Once again, reality TV star Jon Gosselin is facing reports that he’s cheating on his wife, and once again he’s denying them.

Reports on several Web sites this week accused the “Jon” half of “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ of stepping out on wife Kate when he was seen at a tavern in the couple’s Pennsylvania with other women. Gosselin says he his only sin is bad judgment.

“Like most people, I have male and female friends and I’m not going to end my friendships just because I’m on TV,” he says in a statement. “However, being out with them late at night showed poor judgment on my part. What makes me sick is that my careless behavior has put my family in this uncomfortable position. My family is the most important thing in my life and it kills me that these allegations have hurt them.”

MADtv, the liveaction sketch comedy show on Fox, aired what is to be their last episode ever…at least on Fox. Fox announced that they were cancelling MADtv in December, and that this was to be their final episode. Executive producer, David Salzman, still has hope that another network will pick up the show and they can continue their work. The series finale on Fox airs tonight at 11pm est. If you’re a fan, check it out, ’cause it could be the last episode ever!

The NY Daily News reports Salzman saying:

“We view this as the Fox finale,” Salzman told the Daily News. “We’ve had 14 incredible seasons with Fox … but we are in discussions with other networks about continuing the show, though we don’t have anything definitive to talk about now.”

Since I’m not a big fan of roller coasters and other theme park rides, the fact that Six Flags recently filed for bankruptcy doesn’t really bother me.

Six Flags had been staving off the looming bankruptcy, trying to negotiate its increasing debt outside of court with private lenders. However, when they couldn’t reach an agreement, they had no choice but to file for bankruptcy in a Delaware court early Saturday morning.

The New York Times reports that Six Flags had a staggering $2.4 billion in debt and faced a payment of $300 million to preferred stockholders this August. Though the newly-installed management team has done a great job of cutting Six Flags’ net losses over the past 2 years, it wasn’t enough to counterbalance a 24% drop in revenue. And, because of the credit markets still largely frozen, Six Flags had a difficult time trying to offload their debt.
